Make Money Online | Create a Monthly Membership Site with Low Content
One way to create products fast for your audience is to focus on creating low-content products and services.
For example: you can create low-content items that people need and want, like coloring books, word finds, worksheets, checklists, calendars, templates, cheat sheets, journals, and so forth. You get the idea!
Before you pooh-pooh the idea, stop right there and think about the things you yourself have bought that is low content. Most people have purchased planners, calendars, and things like that. You may have even purchased a journal to give to your kids for Christmas. Those are all low-content items that your audience uses and needs.
One way to make money from this idea is to start a low-content membership site. To set up your low-content membership site, think about all the low-content information that your ideal target audience already uses.
You may have already created some - such as a checklist - as a freebie to build your email list. Or maybe you've downloaded something like that for the same reason. Either way, you know that people buy and use low-content information to make their lives easier or because it's fun. Now you can take all that work you've already done or purchase private label rights content to help and turn it into a membership site.
Most membership sites charge a monthly or yearly fee to their members so that they can gain access to the content and information that is hidden behind a paywall. All that means is that the customer must provide something, either money or an email address, in order to get access to what's inside.
It's easy to set up a membership site today. Use software like Amember.com, Clickfunnels.com, Clickbank.com, WP Member, or other shopping cart software that has a membership component. Many do - if you're not sure, send them an email to ask. You can get creative with using Facebook groups, too.
The way it will work is that when your customer pays, it'll automatically sign them up to the private members-only areas of your site where they can access the content. You'll make way more money if you automate as much as possible. You don't want to have to manually add people to anything if you're going to make a lot of money.
You can start marketing the membership site once you only have the first item inside. Then, just add them as you go, setting up the content to "drip" to the member. That way, each member only gets things for the month they've paid for. Another way is just to let them have access to everything all at once but charge a yearly fee. It's up to you.
The content you add should be helpful to them but low content and easy for you to make. For example, if you have an audience who is into journaling and positive manifesting, you can add monthly journal pages that help guide their day in a positive way. If your audience is parents of young kids, you can add worksheets for kids, word finds, chore charts, checklists, and so forth. Honestly, any low content info your customers need for any aspect of their life will work great.
